By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You must use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with its security, operation, or use by others.

“SG Diamonds,” “SG,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business identified on this website. “You” refers to a visitor, inquirer, customer, or person acting for an organization.

02 · Inquiries, quotes & orders

A conversation is not yet an order.

Website content, gallery images, messages, and preliminary discussions are invitations to inquire. An order is accepted only when SG provides or accepts the applicable written order documentation and any required payment or deposit is successfully processed. SG may decline or cancel a request before acceptance, subject to applicable law.

Your written quote, invoice, receipt, design approval, or order confirmation may state specifications, price, payment schedule, estimated production time, delivery method, return eligibility, warranties, and other order-specific terms. If it conflicts with these website terms, the more specific order document controls for that transaction.

03 · Products & descriptions

Confirm the individual piece.

Jewelry and gemstones can vary in measurements, proportions, weight, color, clarity, finish, and appearance. Screens, lighting, photography, enlargement, and image compression can affect how colors and scale appear. Gallery and inspiration images do not promise that an identical item, stone, setting, price, or result is available.

Natural diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds, gemstones, metals, treatments, and grading information should be identified in the written description for the item being considered. Ask SG to clarify any term before purchase. A third-party grading report or appraisal is the issuing organization’s opinion under its own standards; it is not a promise that another organization will assign the same result.

Weights and measurements may be approximate where customary or stated. Typographical, photographic, data, and pricing errors may be corrected before an order is accepted.

04 · Pricing & payment

Final terms are confirmed in writing.

Unless an offer expressly says otherwise, website examples do not constitute a binding quotation. Prices, promotions, availability, taxes, fees, metal and diamond markets, and sourcing costs can change. SG confirms the applicable price, payment schedule, accepted method, expiration, taxes, shipping charges, and other fees in the order documentation.

A payment is complete only when successfully authorized and received. SG may use third-party payment, financing, form, messaging, scheduling, analytics, or other service providers. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply. Displaying a payment or financing brand does not guarantee eligibility, approval, or availability for every purchase.

05 · Custom work & approvals

Your approval guides production.

Custom, made-to-order, engraved, resized, altered, repaired, or special-order work may require written approval of design details, dimensions, materials, stone specifications, price, and estimated timing. Renderings, computer-aided designs, sketches, waxes, and samples are planning tools; the finished handmade or cast piece may show reasonable production differences.

You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, measurements, sizes, orientation, and other personalized details before approval. Changes requested after approval may affect feasibility, cost, timing, and return eligibility. Restrictions that apply to custom or altered work should be stated in the order-specific documents.

Unless SG expressly agrees otherwise in writing, providing an inspiration image authorizes SG to use it as direction—not to reproduce protected work unlawfully or guarantee an exact copy.

06 · Delivery, returns & service

Order-specific instructions control.

Processing time and carrier transit time are separate. Dates are estimates unless SG expressly guarantees a date in writing. Shipping method, cost, destination, insurance or declared-value arrangements, signature or pickup requirements, and responsibility after delivery depend on the order.

Return and exchange eligibility is not universal. The written order terms determine the deadline, required condition, return-shipping responsibility, fees, inspection, and available remedy. Never send jewelry to SG without written authorization and instructions.

Read the complete Shipping & Returns policy, which is incorporated into these terms. Nothing in either policy limits a non-waivable right under applicable law.

07 · Customer-provided items

Repairs, stones & heirloom pieces.

If you ask SG to inspect, repair, reset, alter, or work with jewelry, stones, watches, documents, or other property you provide, SG may document the item and its apparent condition at intake. Hidden damage, prior repairs, treatments, wear, brittleness, inclusions, weak settings, and inaccurate third-party descriptions can affect the work and may not be discoverable before service begins.

The service intake, repair estimate, or other written agreement should identify the authorized work, price, timing, risks, replacement limits, unclaimed-property process, and any additional terms. Do not leave an item until you understand and accept that documentation.

08 · Acceptable use & intellectual property

Use the site respectfully.

The website’s original text, layout, graphics, branding, photographs, video, and code are owned by or licensed to SG Diamonds and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal, noncommercial shopping or recordkeeping. No other license is granted.

You may not scrape the site at scale, bypass security, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, misuse forms, interfere with operation, reproduce content commercially, remove ownership notices, or use SG branding in a misleading way. Search engines may index public pages through ordinary, policy-compliant crawling.

Links to external sites are provided for convenience. SG does not control their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

09 · Disclaimers & responsibility

Information first; written commitments second.

The website is provided on an “as available” basis for general information and inquiry. To the extent permitted by law, SG does not promise that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every item, service, price, promotion, or image will remain available or current.

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, SG is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of—or inability to use—the website. Any responsibility connected with a purchase or service is governed by the applicable written agreement and law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited. No website disclaimer replaces an express written warranty SG provides for a specific order.

10 · General terms

How these terms work.

• Changes. SG may update these terms by publishing a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively unless law or a specific agreement provides otherwise.
• Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue where permitted.
• No waiver. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
• Entire website agreement. These terms and the Privacy notice govern website use. Order-specific documents govern the applicable purchase or service.
• Applicable law. These terms are governed by laws applicable in California, without displacing any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.
